In the darkness of the Red Lounge Club no one could see Jake Sawyer huddled at the back table with his ink pens. However he could see others dancing and drinking; generally having a good time. He had come here to chill out after an argument with his close friend and personal mentor, Crash. Crash is like a Dad to Jake now and is caught between treating Jake as his son, star apprentice and very good friend. So when Crash told Jake he wouldn't be coming to Singapore for a tattoo expo a fight ensued.
Jake was siting at the table in the club now thinking of all the advantages of having the tattoo parlour to himself for the week. Many ideas popped up in his head; a party, tattoo himself, especially since Crash didn't want him to have anymore before he left school, or he could just invite a couple of friends round.
Shaking his head Jake let go of the thoughts and started to sketch. It wasn't long before one of the clubbers caught his eye; not sitting far away from his own table was Nick Jones and a couple of other seniors. It wasn't Nick that generally caught Jake's eye; he doesn't swing that way, it was more the tattoo on his bicep that did. A tribal tattoo, one of Jake's favourite kind, was intricately tattooed there. Jake grinned and began to sketch what he could see of Nick's tattoo.

"Stalking the local teens?" a voice asked, standing in the way of Jake's view of Nick's tattoo. Paige was smirking down at him, arms crossed. She was wearing a black halter top that showed off her tattoo and jeans with black heels, watching him.

Jake looked up and smied. "Just sketching out some things." He gestured to her tattoo. "Very nice." He bent his head back down and finished off the sketch closing his book and looking back up at her.

Paige smiled when he complimented her tattoo. "Thanks. May I?" she asked, gesturing to the seat next to him. She didn't wait for an answer as she sat herself down beside him. "So, what brings you to the darkness corner of the Red Lounge, Jake?" she asked, raising a eyebrow at him.

Before Jake could do anything he felt Paige beside him. "Hmmm the darkness." he mused. "It's cool. A little chill out zone, so don't tell anyone about it." he winked at her then looked down at his hands, they were covered in ink and charcoal. "Just hiding out here, major blow out at the studio. Why are you here?"

Nick Jones was stradling a chair in the red lounge at a table not too far from Paige and Jake's. Casually looking around the room he caught Paige's eye and looked her up and down before turning back to his drink and his senior friends at his table.

Paige nodded at Jake. "Bummer." she said when he talked about the blow out. She shrugged a bit "Just wanted to get out the house, have a little fun." she said, smiling at him. She felt eyes on her and glanced at Nick, giving him a once over too, a small smirk forming on her lips. "Well, well.." she mumbled, mostly to herself, partly to Jake "Looks like I found fun already." she finished, looking at Jake.

Dalton took a sip of his drink, following Nick's gaze as he saw his friend checking out Paige Matthews. He smirked a bit and nudged his friend "Dude, what've I told you about checking out other dudes in public?" he teased, putting down his drink and flicking on his video camera. He leaned back in his chair, focusing the camera on Nick on standby mode. "C'mon dude, smile for the camera. We graduate this year and who knows if i'll ever see your scruffy ass again." he teased, grinning behind the camera.

"Him? He hardly looks like fun." Jake said as he looked at the shady Nick and Dalton at the other table. "Go introduce yourself then.", Jake joked lightly.

"Shut up man, you know what I'm looking at." he growled jokingly. "You'll see it again. Don't worry, besides Dalt, you shouldn't be checking out my ass anyways." Nick joked. He sent Dalton a funny look then toyed with the ice in his glass.

Paige shook her head, smiling at Jake "Nah, he's not really my type anyway. Plus I much prefer hanging out with you." she said, grinning at him. "So, you going to show me your tatts or what?" she asked, smirking a little.

Dalton laughed a bit, shrugging "What can I say?" he joked. He hit record, aiming the camera in Paige's direction and zooming in. "She looks kind of cosy with that tattoo guy, you might have some competition." Dalton said, zooming out and aiming the camera at Nick again.

Dean walked into the Red Lounge, adjusting his leather jacket as he looked around. He spotted Nick and smirked, heading over. "Looks like I found myself some trouble." Dean said to them, pulling a chair from a nearby table and copying Nick's seating position.

"He ain't competition." Nick said rolling his eyes. He smirked recognising the familiar voice at the table. He didn't take his eyes off his drink but nodded, acknowledging Dean was there. "A hell of a lot of trouble here.", he said grinning.

Dean nodded, glancing around the room. "Well this place seems a hella boring. What's there to do for fun around here?" Dean asked Nick, resting his chin on his arms on the back of the chair.
